This 13-inch Panchdhatu idol portrays Lord Ganesha in an extraordinary form, Ashtabhuja Vinayaka, the eight-armed manifestation revered for immense strength and all-encompassing blessings. Unlike the more familiar four-armed Ganesha, this form expands his divine attributes, showcasing his supreme ability to protect and guide devotees in every direction of life.
Each of Ganesha’s eight arms holds a symbolic emblem: the trishul (trident) for divine power, the chakra (cosmic wheel) for dharma, the lotus for purity, the ankusha (goad) to guide seekers, the pasha (noose) to remove attachments, and other weapons representing courage and wisdom. His lion vahana (vehicle) stands by his side, a symbol of fearless energy and protection. The radiant lotus halo behind his crown completes the cosmic aura of this rare form.
Cast in Panchdhatu, the sacred five-metal alloy of copper, brass, gold, silver, and iron — the sculpture is born through the lost-wax casting process, ensuring fine chiseling in ornaments, posture, and expression.
