This 10-inch Panchdhatu idol portrays Lord Krishna as the enchanting Murli Manohar, the divine flute player whose music symbolizes love, compassion, and the eternal connection between the soul and the cosmos. Sculpted in the iconic tribhanga stance, Krishna balances gracefully on one leg, his form radiating poise and charm.
Made using the lost-wax casting technique, the sculpture begins as a wax model, later cast in molten Panchdhatu – a five-metal alloy of copper, brass, gold, silver, and iron revered for its spiritual resonance. Each detail is then brought to life by hand chiseling, from the pleats of Krishna’s dhoti to the intricate jewellery adorning his form. The golden finish amplifies his divine presence, giving the idol both a devotional and artistic glow.
The serene expression, flute raised to his lips, and finely carved crown create an aura of peace and transcendence. The lotus-petal pedestal grounds the figure in purity, making it ideal for temple altars, meditation spaces, or as a centerpiece in a collector’s display.
