Description

This 10-inch Panchdhatu idol portrays Lord Ganesha in his royal and auspicious form, seated with grace beneath a finely carved prabhavali. The arch, adorned with flame-like motifs, symbolises divine radiance emanating from the deity. Ganesha’s calm expression, rotund belly, and gentle posture radiate both authority and warmth, making this form beloved in devotional practice.
The four arms of Ganesha carry sacred emblems: the modak (sweet of fulfillment), the ankusha (goad) guiding seekers, the pasha (noose) removing ignorance, and his hand raised in abhaya mudra granting protection. The lotus-petal pedestal anchors the idol, while intricate carvings in the arch and ornaments enhance its temple-like aura.
Made using the lost-wax process, the idol begins as a wax model, cast in molten Panchdhatu — the alloy of copper, brass, gold, silver, and iron revered for spiritual energy. Each piece is carefully hand-polished to a glowing golden finish, highlighting every line and curve.
